There’s a new Sheriff in town!

The village Board has signed a contract with officials from the Grant co. Sheriff’s office to patrol the village of Livingston for a determined number of hours each week. This officer will patrol Livingston in order to keep residents safe and to enforce village ordinances. When the officer is not patrolling Livingston, they are patrolling and keeping the public safe throughout Grant County. If you have a complaint or concern????

Residents can call the Village office (943-6800) or sewer plant (943-6195) with a complaint or concern.  The village clerk will in turn, inform the officer of the complaint.

Be prepared to give your name and phone number where you can be reached in the event the officer needs to contact you for more information. Residents will not be able to call the officer directly with a complaint. It will be handled through the village office or by calling the Grant County non-emergency phone number at 608-723-2157.
In the case of an emergency, residents should always call 911.

The Village Board is excited about this new partnership with the Grant Co. Sheriff’s office.  Our goal is to have a fun and safe community for all.  If you have questions, please call the village office or contact any village trustee.

In the meantime,. . . . slow down driving around town, obey curfew and make sure Fido is tied up.
